Lecture:“Capitals and Harbors of Ancient Egypt”
Presented by: Ms. Amira Sediq – Egyptologist at CULTNAT
The land of Egypt embraced about 42 regions (governorates) distributed between Lower Egypt and Upper Egypt. The harbors of Egypt extended along the Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Nile River. The Greek geographers praised the Egyptian Capitals and cities (Memphis - Pi-Ramesses – Wast “Thebes”)
This Lecture is an invitation to a tour to get acquainted with these capitals and harbors and to learn about their role in civilization and their communities.
